Interactive Dartboard Hire
LED-lit, auto scoring interactive dartboards for parties, exhibitions and corporate events. Real Winmau boards, dozens of games and optional branding, delivered and set up anywhere in the UK.
What is an interactive dartboard?
An interactive dartboard is a modern take on the pub classic. It's a real Winmau bristle board set in a freestanding cabinet, with an LED-lit scoring ring, a screen, speakers and a simple button console. Every dart is detected and scored automatically, so guests just pick a game and throw.
That makes interactive dartboard hire one of the easiest ways to get people playing at an event. Keen players get a proper game of 501, beginners get fun party games, and nobody has to stand at a chalkboard doing sums.
- Real Winmau bristle board with steel-tip darts
- LED scoring ring that lights up the board
- Built-in screen showing scores, games and your branding
- Button console, so guests start games without staff
- Freestanding cabinet: no wall fixings, sets up in minutes

How the auto scoring works
Sensors around the board pick up where each dart lands. The machine adds up the throw, counts down what's left, handles busts and calls the checkout, then shows it all on the screen with sound and animation.
Guests choose their game with the coloured button console. The green button opens a menu to undo a dart, end the game or go back to the start, so the boards run themselves all event.

Interactive vs traditional dartboard hire
Interactive dartboard
- Scores every dart automatically and shows it on screen
- Dozens of games, from 501 to party games and competitions
- LED lighting and sound that draw a crowd
- Leaderboards and prize competitions built in
- Fully brandable cabinets, screens and mats
Traditional dartboard
- Someone has to keep score by hand
- One game format, usually 501 or round the clock
- Easy to overlook in a busy room
- No built-in competition or leaderboard
We hire both. If you'd like classic boards on lit truss stands with pro-style throw mats, just ask.
Where interactive dartboards work best
Interactive dartboards work almost anywhere people get together:
- Exhibitions and trade shows: pull visitors onto your stand with a branded darts wall and a live leaderboard
- Christmas and office parties: a game everyone can join in with, scored automatically
- Team building and fun days: department tournaments and leaderboards
- Weddings: a relaxed game for guests between the meal and the dancing
- Universities and freshers: sponsor-branded boards and high-score challenges
- Bars, venues and sports clubs: darts nights without anyone keeping score

How interactive dartboard hire works
Booking is straightforward. Send us your date, venue and how many boards you'd like. If you want branding, we'll send templates and a proof to approve. On the day our crew delivers, builds and tests the boards before your guests arrive, then collects everything afterwards.

Interactive dartboard hire FAQ
What is interactive dartboard hire?
Interactive dartboard hire means renting a freestanding electronic dart machine for your event. Each one has a real Winmau bristle board in an LED-lit scoring ring, a screen, speakers and a button console. The board detects every dart and scores it automatically, and we deliver, set up and collect it.
How does an interactive dartboard know where the dart has landed?
Sensors around the board read where each dart lands the moment it hits. The machine works out the score, takes it off the total, spots busts and shows everything on screen, so nobody has to add up or chalk the scores.
Is an interactive dartboard the same as an electronic or digital dartboard?
People use all three names for a board that scores itself. Ours use real bristle boards and steel-tip darts, so they play like proper darts. If you'd prefer plastic-tipped darts for a family or public event, see our soft tip dartboard hire.
How many interactive dartboards should we hire?
One board suits smaller parties and a single branded stand. For busy events we recommend two to four boards side by side so the queue keeps moving, and multi-lane walls work well for large exhibitions and tournaments. Tell us your guest numbers and we'll suggest the right number.
What do we need at the venue?
A level floor, a clear throwing lane in front of each board and a standard plug socket nearby. Send us your room or stand measurements and we'll confirm how many boards fit and the best layout.
Can the interactive dartboards be branded?
Yes. We can wrap the cabinets, add a header panel, print your logo on the throw mats and put your artwork on the screen between games. See branded dartboard hire for the full process.
Can we run a competition or leaderboard?
Yes. The machines have high-score competition modes, and we can show a leaderboard so guests keep coming back to beat the top score. It's a popular way to collect leads at exhibitions.
Where do you deliver interactive dartboards?
Across the UK, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Bristol and Belfast. Our crew delivers, sets up, tests and collects everything.
How much does interactive dartboard hire cost?
It depends on the number of boards, the length of your event, where it is and whether you want branding. Send us your date and venue for a quick, no-obligation quote.
